My Brand New Double Decker

All thanks to my nephew (and the fact that he has more than the usual number of primate chromosomes in his body), my old bed has finally gone to the graveyard. I now have a brand new, solid wood (in mahogony colour) double decker in my room that also managed to clip my big toe while I was shifting it. Bought it from Picket and Rail in IMM. Also bought two spanking new matteresses to go along with it.

I initially considered sleeping up top, cos my nephew still wets the bed and gravity in this instance would be a big NO NO. But considering the fact that I weigh 3 times as much as he does, I changed my mind. As usual all pics are coming later =P.

My toe is swelling up.....

Always too busy to post

As usual, I've been busy (tutoring, re-reading my books) and doing other stuff to really post! ^^U

I actually made a couple of new stuff, but haven't had the time to post the pics up...I intend to post up more book reviews soon, based on the what I am currently following. If you have followed my Blogspot blog, you would have seen a list of the authors and books. Most of my money is going down the book-drain. I am actually waiting for more titles to be published then I will do another one of my acma rounds.

My recent order just arrived, but I haven't been in the mood to read anything except my Steph Plum novel. As usual, reading her series makes my mood lighten (and I laugh out loud). I've also been spending too much, since I went on a kinda clothes shopping frenzy during the GSS and when I was in M'sia.

Aaaieeee gotta plug the hole in my wallet! (kekekek)

Comp resurrection

Just came home from dinner with the family to discover that my neice and her 'itchy' fingers actually managed to resurrect my computer. Hurray!
I'd been trying repeatedly to turn it on with no results and was thinking of sending it for fixing or dumping the old relic.

Anyways, here are some pics of my recent creations.




I made these with shrink plastic and I think they are way way COOL! Each pair of earrings are S$3 or US$2. Shipping is free for local deliveries with US$1 charge for overseas shipping. =)

My Desktop Has Died

My internet connection is gone because my desktop comp has died. Right now, I am using my dad's laptop to connect until I get it fixed (that and the network card on my other laptop).

I've been making lots of stuff, just tried out using the Shrink Plastic to make ornaments! Man I really like that!! The results are quite nice and it makes such cute and mini sized items.

I took pics but since this is my dad's comp, I'd rather not infect it with anything, so I am not using my thumbdrive to upload pics here (anyways he will be leaving tomorrow, so will be netless again).

Will post the pics up once my main comp is up and running again. Or I might just connect the net direct to my laptop instead of fixing the wireless (i don't like it but what the heck).

Busy Busy

I have been too busy with tuition the last couple of days to make much in a while. Since my little stint at Karen's school selling stuff, the creative drive is taking a little break. I've been contemplating putting my stuff up in a blog instead if Etsy, since I want to appeal to more local rather than foriegn markets. And I can stop advertising in US$ which can be a little off putting for regional buyers I guess.

Have already got a format figured out, just have to actually move it along! Right now, I am a little too lazy to advertise and promote myself so it will probably take a while to get off the runway. I am praying hard that I get off my butt and actually make it happen!
