Just a quik note

Hi to all and sorry for the silence in the past few months. Been very busy during the year end exams, what with all my students asking for more of my time to prep them. And bumming right after for some needed R and R! Still have tuition during the hols, which is both good and bad since I don't get a true hol (the bad), but I still get some income (the good)! What with Christmas just around the corner and all, I am NOW BROKE.

Anyways, Merry Christmas! And a Happy New Year. Might not write another entry this year, all depends! See you all next year! Take care and God Bless!

Unusual methods of eating...

Ok, I think everyone out there has some pretty wierd methods of eating perfectly ordinary stuff. Like drinking coffee with salt instead of sugar etc etc. Here I will be posting something no westerner would even contemplate (hahah unless they are Anthony Bourdain!)

what you see above is me having a sambal petai on softmeal bread! My mum's sambal petai really rocks. YUM! (I didn't want to eat rice so here it is!) To the ignorant, the petai is also known as the SMELLY BEAN. It's pungent and peeps who have never tried it may find the taste and smell overwhelming. Fusion cuisine at its best HAHAH

The Love of My Life

ha, don't be fulled by the heading. But definitely, a good book is the love of my life! The anticipation when an eagerly awaited book is finally out and I can get my trembling hands on its brand new, drool worthy cover is worth every moment of the pure agonizing wait.

My heart pounds in excitement and I practically want to scream with the joy of finally being able to read it. Little shivers literally run up my spine and its ecstasy in pure undiluted form. Nothing can compete with the joys of a new book, one I have been totally and obsessively awaiting. No male in this world can even compete. Romance between the sheets (pun intended) and better than in real. You may think its sad, but what you think ain't my problem!

I am planning a date with my fifth book in JR Wards Brotherhood of the Black Dagger. Yep, a date where neices and nephies have no way of interrupting with no one at home to bug me and where I have my book and Vishous, protag of Lover Unbound all to myself. And of course on my sunbed and between the sheets (in real) .
